“Beyond syllabus scholarly Activities” of the Department of History
The Department organizes visits to Historical Monuments, Archives and Museums in order to give beyond classroom exposure to its students. The Department offers various avenues for students to hone their skills such as Guest lectures, Demonstrations sessions by subject experts to use the primary online digitalised archival sources for research to help the students to think and use the material creatively. Other such activity is which is organized by the department is English Improvement and Reading Skill Development to enable students to improve their comprehension and expression in English. The Department also organizes ‘Guest Lectures and Talks’ by experts on various topics to update the students with recent development and upcoming areas of research.
