Documentary screening of Bharat Ek Khoj

To enrich the students about the Mughal-Rajput relations a screening of Bharat Ek Khoj was screened for the students of the department of History on 29th January,2018.This short documentary highlighted the Rajput and the Hindu Policy of Akbar. It also focused on Akbar’s relations with the Hindus and in particular the battle of Haldighati fought with Maharana Pratap of Mewar in 1576. It helped the students to comprehend the policies of Akbar to expand and consolidate the rule of the Mughals in India. It was followed by an appreciation and analysis of Akbar’s Policies.
