To acquaint the students with the role of Moderate and Extermists in Indian National Movement a documentary Film “Bharat Ek Khoj: Moderates and Extremists,” (The Discovery of India, A Production of Doordarshan, the Government of Indi’s Public Service Broadcaster, Episode 48) was screened on 18th January at 1.45 pm though Microsoft Teams for Semester VI students of the Department of History.
This film dealt with the role of Moderate and Extermists in Indian National Movement. The establishment of the Indian National Congress under the leadership of AO Hume and Dadabhai Naoroji. The role of moderates and extremist in Indian Freedom struggle, important leaders from this period includes Dadabhai Naorji, Gopal Krishan Gokhale,Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Vipin Chandra pal, Lal Laj pat Ray, etc. The film enabled the students the developed a concrete understanding the freedom movement in contemporary Scenario the contribution of moderates and extremist through visual medium proved to be wonderful experience to the students
