Objective: 

This course empowers students to critically assess the political developments of the Indian subcontinent under the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal rule. They trace the evolution of these empires into centralized states, exploring the administrative mechanisms behind their consolidation. Additionally, students familiarize themselves with the judicial administration of Medieval India, gaining insights into the legal systems of the time. Through this comprehensive study, students gain a deeper understanding of medieval Indian governance and society.
