Objective: 

Course objectives 

This course empowers students to assess the policies and political landscape during the reigns of Jahangir, Shah Jahan, and Aurangzeb. It facilitates an examination of the rise and expansion of Maratha power in northern India, providing insights into their strategic maneuvers. Moreover, students will become familiar with the evolution of art and architecture under the Mughal patronage, understanding its cultural and aesthetic significance during this period.
