Objective: 

Course Objectives

This course empowers students to delve into the historical complexities surrounding the Maratha Interference in Rajasthan and the subsequent conclusion of British treaties in 1818. They will gain insight into the Social and Cultural Awakening, as well as the Administrative and Judicial Changes that occurred post-1818, along with the consequential legislation and changes in the contemporary period. Moreover, students will critically analyze the British economic policies and their impact on agrarian unrest, as well as the intricacies of the freedom struggle and the integration of Rajasthan's states. Through this multifaceted exploration, students will develop a comprehensive understanding of the significant historical events and transformations in Rajasthan's history.
