The students will be able to– CO1-Understand the definition, types and various movements of Museology and role of Curator. CO2- Familiarize with the technique of collection and conservation of objects of museums CO3- Develop an understanding on the Meaning, Scope, Objectives, Importance, Classes of Archives and Classification of Records CO4- Analyse the management of Archives and Understand the appraisal and retention of Records Conservation and Preservation of Records Digital Archives CO5- Get acquainted with the hands on experiences through visit to a museum. |
Approach in teaching: Orientation of methods of conflict resolution, Case studies based on management and resolution of various conflicts in different regions, Lectures, Classroom discussions based on real life situations and case studies Learning activities for the students: Self-learning assignments, Effective questions, Seminar presentation, Giving tasks. |
