This course empowers students to explore post-World War II evolving polities and their impact on global politics, with a focus on the role of the UN in promoting world peace. Additionally, students will analyze the factors contributing to the emergence of Third World Countries and the socio-economic challenges they face. Moreover, they will identify and critically assess contemporary issues of the 20th century, including the Human Rights Movement, Apartheid, Feminism, Globalization, and Environmental concerns, providing a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics shaping our modern world
