Objective: 

Course Objectives

This course will enable the students

  1. To understand the relevance of Tourism as history and its relationship with culture
  2. To get acquainted with the Historical Dimensions of Tourism and various aspects of tourism industry
  3. To deepen understanding the Socio-Cultural Impact of Tourism and its growing trends and the demand it is generating in the present times

Tourism and Culture

The students will be able to–

CO51- Develop an Understanding on the Meaning, Nature, Scope and various types of Tourism

CO52- Evaluate the Historical Dimensions of Tourism Travel and Tourism through the Ages from earliest to Modern

CO53- Understand the Infrastructure in Tourism: including Tourist Transport, Tour Operators Travel Agency, Tourist Accommodation.

CO54- Understand the impact of tourism and government policies to improve tourism 

CO55- Analyse the development of Tourism in Rajasthan.
