Objective: 

Course Objectives

This course empowers students to scrutinize the Mughal era's land revenue policies, agricultural production, crop patterns, and irrigation systems. It facilitates assessments of land rights, including the Iqta, Jagirdari, Zamindari, and Ijara systems prevalent during the Mughal period. Moreover, students will critically evaluate the urban industries' rise, internal and external trade dynamics, market structures, and the socio-economic fabric of village communities during this historical epoch
