Interactive session on How to prepare for RAS Exams by Karishma Kavia, RAS Officer

The Department of History organized a Guest lecture on How to prepare for RAS Exams for the History department students on 23^rd March 2019. The Guest Speaker on this occasion was - Karishma Kavia, RAS Officer currently posted as Social Security officer at Phagi. Prof. Sharad Rathore, Head of Department of History introduced the speaker.

 Karishma Kavia shared her experiences on preparing for Civil Services. An Alumani of the department of History from 2013 batch, she appeared in the exam right after her Graduation, in fact the same year and the results were announced in 2017 which she cleared. She said that a focused attitude with in depth study, making relevant notes, reading newspapers, watching YouTube video’s discussions and revision would lead the aspirants to success. She also suggested the concepts of the subject should be very clear and for that NCERT books would be really helpful. She further, added that presence of mind, knowledge and honesty enables the students to face the interview successfully.
