Documentary Screening on Vijayanagara Empire

To acquaint the students with the Character of Krishna dev Raya and his contribution to the development and consolidate of the Vijayanagara Empire, a documentary was screened on 2nd October, 2019 for Semester III students of the Department of History. The film dealt with the history of Vijayanagara Empire which was one of the powerful empires of south India founded in 1336 A.D when Mohammad Bin Tughlaq was ruling over North India.  The focus of the documentary was on Krishna dev Raya’s reign and achievements and his role in making Vijayanagara as one of the important kingdom of Hindu dynasty
