Objective:

This course equips students with the ability to compare and contrast the myriad ideologies that dominated the Twentieth Century and their profound global impacts. It delves into the intricate causes and consequences of pivotal events such as the First World War and the Russian Revolution, fostering a deep analytical understanding. Moreover, students will scrutinize the complex factors underlying the rise of Nazism and Fascism in Germany and Italy, as well as Militarism in Japan, alongside the diplomatic maneuvers that precipitated the outbreak of World War II.
