Objective: 

Course Objectives

This course provides students with a contextual understanding of the significance of tourism in historical contexts and its intimate connection with culture. Students will grasp the historical dimensions of tourism and gain insight into the industries associated with tourism and culture. Furthermore, they will analyze the socio-cultural impact of tourism, including its growing trends, and examine government policies aimed at enhancing and developing tourism. Overall, students will develop a holistic understanding of the role of tourism in shaping societies and cultures, as well as its implications for socio-economic development and cultural preservation.
