Objective: 

In this course, students will acquire practical skills essential for historical research. They will learn how to navigate and utilize libraries, archives, and databases effectively for gathering research materials. Additionally, students will develop a research acumen, enabling them to construct synopses based on both primary and secondary sources. Furthermore, they will master techniques of documentation crucial for conducting rigorous and organized research. Overall, this course equips students with the tools and methodologies necessary to excel in historical research endeavors.

Synopsis

CO115- Develop literature review skills to analyze existing research, identify gaps, and read critically evaluate Rajasthani language manuscripts.

CO116- Learn to identify research problems clearly. Gain creative historical research skills, utilizing libraries, archives, databases, and accessing ample primary sources.

CO117- Develop the ability to formulate clear and concise research objectives and hypotheses that align with the research problem and research gap identified.

CO118- Nurture critical thinking to assess research elements' relevance and significance in the research synopsis, including problem, objectives, and hypotheses.

Conduction: The students will be assigned a topic in the beginning of the semester. They will be required to prepare a Synopsis and submit a report. An external expert and an internal member will evaluate the same
