Objective: 

Course objectives

This course empowers students to delve into the administrative structure of the Sultanate period, particularly focusing on the military and land revenue systems. It facilitates a comparative analysis of land revenue systems between the Delhi Sultans and the Mughals, alongside an exploration of the development of the Mansabdari system during the Mughal era. Additionally, students will critically evaluate the roles played by the nobility and ulema in shaping the administrative landscape.
