The students will be able – CO 85-Students will understand the Meaning, Objective and Scope of Archaeology and Archaeology as a source of History. CO 86-Students will learn about Archaeology in relation with other sciences such as Social, Natural and Pure Sciences. CO87-Students understand the relative and absolute dating, Chemical treatment and preservation of Archaeological finds and Theories and methods of field Archaeology: Excavation, Stratigraphy and Dating. CO 88-Students will understand Stone Age Cultures of India: Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic Cultures. CO89-Students will deepen understanding about Harappan Culture - Origin, extent, chronology, factors of urbanization, trade, script, religion, arts and craft, factors of decline. |
