Course Objectives:

This course will enable the students -

1.    To understand the various political and economic developments in the Modern World History.

2. To introduce the student to the ushering of Modern period in World History beginning with Renaissance, covering  major Revolutions and balance of power in Europe at the time of Napoleon Bonaparte, Matternich till a later period.

CO56-To comprehend the causes and consequences of the Agricultural and Industrial Revolution.

CO57- To understand the French Revolution and the consequent rise of Napoleon Bonaparte,his policies and fall.

CO58-To analyse the era of revolution and change in Europe  from 1815-1848 and the Crimean War.
