Objective:
Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students -
- To acquaint the students with the various political developments in India with particular reference to the Marathas and Bengal and the emergence of Regional powers and their absorption in the British Empire.
- To deepen understand the establishment, development and growth of British paramountcy shall be dealt extensively along with the uprising of 1857.
