This course provides students with a thorough exploration of early Medieval India, highlighting key transitions, changes, and developments such as the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal rule. Students will also gain insights into the contributions of the Vijayanagar and Bahamani kingdoms to Medieval Indian History. Additionally, they will evaluate the origin, evolution, and decline of the Mughal Empire, examining aspects such as imperial administration, land revenue policies, and societal, religious, economic, artistic, and cultural developments during the Medieval Period
