Objective: 

Course Objectives:

This course provides students with a thorough exploration of early Medieval India, highlighting key transitions, changes, and developments such as the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate and Mughal rule. Students will also gain insights into the contributions of the Vijayanagar and Bahamani kingdoms to Medieval Indian History. Additionally, they will evaluate the origin, evolution, and decline of the Mughal Empire, examining aspects such as imperial administration, land revenue policies, and societal, religious, economic, artistic, and cultural developments during the Medieval Period

CO13- Examine the study sources of the Delhi Sultanate, Mughal Dynasty, and the circumstances preceding the establishment of the Delhi Sultanate.

CO14- Analyze the political history of Delhi's ruling dynasties, including their administrative policies, innovations, and reforms..

CO15- Assess the political development in the Mughal empire from Babur to Shahajahan’s reign

 CO16- Determine the policies of Aurangzeb and explain the Mughal administration as well as Land Revenue, Mansabdari and Jagir system
