Course Objectives:
This course will enable the students to identify key political and economic developments in modern world history. It covers a wide range of periods, starting from the Renaissance and extending through major revolutions, including the American and French Revolutions. Furthermore, it examines the balance of power in Europe during significant periods such as the era of Napoleon Bonaparte and Metternich. Additionally, students will explore the emergence of new social movements, political ideologies, and structures within the context of the developing capitalism of the nineteenth century.
