Objective: 

This course empowers students to critically evaluate Gandhi's concepts of village self-sufficiency, Khadi, Swadeshi, and Trusteeship, probing their relevance. It also explores Gandhi's perspectives on caste, the status of women, and educational principles, particularly basic education. Moreover, students will assess the contemporary relevance of Gandhian philosophy, considering its applicability and significance in the present-day socio-political and economic landscape.
